Norfolk & Norwich Festival

Norfolk & Norwich Festival is a major arts festival in the East of England. They approached me to create some EP artwork for a six-track music project inspired by Norwich’s 600-year-old Guildhall, titled ‘The Guildhall Sessions.’ The artwork needed to reflect the diverse history of the building while still feeling relevant to a contemporary audience.

As part of the project, I researched the Guildhall’s history and architectural details in depth. The final artwork brings together multiple letterforms of the letter “G” found throughout the building in a patchwork-style composition – sourced from stained glass, historical paintings, carved woodwork, and even prison graffiti.
